Mindjet also Recognized with Silver Award for Best New Collaboration Solution
Mindjet® announced that the company’s CEO Scott Raskin was honored with a Silver Stevie® Award for Executive of the Year – Computer Software. Mindjet was honored with three awards in this year’s American Business Awards, including the People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite New Collaboration Solution for Mindjet Connect® and the Silver Stevie Award in the New Product or Service of the Year – Software: Collaboration/Social Networking Solution category.
“I’m proud to be listed alongside such an impressive group of Executive of the Year honorees, including leaders at Citrix, Informatica, SAP America and TIBCO,” said Scott Raskin, CEO of Mindjet. “I’m gratified by this award, yet the ultimate reward is building a sustainable business that’s driven by consistent innovation. This, along with our People’s Choice and Silver Stevie awards, highlights our team’s dedication and success building great software that people love, are inspired by and improve how they collaborate to get more done together.”
With more than two decades of tech experience, Raskin has used his strategic vision to evolve Mindjet from a mind-mapping start-up to a cross-platform provider of collaborative tools and work management software. The results have fueled the growth of a passionate Mindjet customer base to more than two million paid users and one million mobile users worldwide. Under Raskin’s leadership, Mindjet has executed strategic acquisitions and major product launches; the company is enjoying double-digit growth and has become a recognized player in the collaboration and work management space.
Award winners are determined by a panel of expert judges who rank each entrant on their innovation, integrity, effectiveness, creativity and company growth. Nominees who receive a score of at least eight out of 10 are awarded the silver award with the highest-scoring recipient receiving the gold award. “It’s inspiring to have received so many remarkable entries for this year’s competition,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We’re delighted to recognize so many innovative companies, new products, technical achievements and technology executives in the ABA’s new product and tech awards categories.”
